About This Game

Uriyadi (உறியடி) is the vibrant Tamil temple festival sport celebrated during Pongal and Krishna Jayanthi. A decorated earthen pot (மண்பானை) filled with turmeric water, coins, and curd is suspended high above a greasy arena on a pulley rope. Villagers splash water to distract you while you time your jumps and swing your long bamboo stick (மூங்கில் கழி) to shatter the pot!
